Rootsの2年ぶりのアルバム。メンバーの出入りが珍しくないRootsだが現在は7人編成だそう。バンドで集まってレコーディングしたそうで、アルバムとしてのトータルなまとまり/統一感は高い。が、その分、単調になってしまっているのも事実。インパクトに欠けるところは、唄の多さとGuestの多様さで補われている気もする。全体的にはスピリチュアルな印象であり、曲調は良い言い方をすればメローな、ストレートに言うとストイックで陰鬱なものが多い。個人的にはもう少し遊びが欲しかったかな。
