Def Jamに移籍したRootsの2年ぶりのアルバムリリース。クレジットによると現在のメンバー6名、脱退したMalik Bもゲスト参加している。逆に有名プロデューサーやゲストの参加も無く、バンドの一体感は一層高まっている。過去に無く、シリアスでダークな雰囲気で、華燭の無い強固なバンドサウンドは時に息苦しくなるが、その力強さには圧倒されるものがある。
