The Weekndの2年振りとなるメジャー4作目は6曲入りのEP。前作ではPopでメロディアスでメインストリームなR&Bに近寄ったわけだが、今回はPopさは捨てて、ひたすらメランコリックでダークなトーンに統一されている。Title通りということになるが、本人の失恋が動機になっているらしく、LyricもPrivateなものになっている。スローなTrackはアンビエントかつエレクトロで、なかなか凝ったアレンジ。高音多用の突き刺さるようなVocalには鬼気迫るものがあるが、ずっと聴くにはつらいものがあり、長編アルバムでなくEPで良かったというのが正直な感想。
