ソロシンガーでもあり、Producer/Song WriterもこなすTweetのデビュー作。Missy Eliottの総合Produceかつレーベルからの作品であることや、先行シングル(7)からの印象によって、先鋭的な人かという先入観があったのでが、囁き声系のシンガーだった。TitleにあるHummingbirdからも想像できるかもしれない。全体的には、スロー中心で歌い上げるタイプなので気負わずに聴けるアルバムなのだが、Timbaland プロデュースによる3曲などで、変化球にもついてこれるところを証明している。
