| Kamasi Washington、2017年秋リリースの作品。前作は3枚組の大作だったが、今回は30分強のEPとなっている。6楽章まである組曲形式となっており、1-5曲目は個々のタイトルをコンセプトにした小品で、13分半の6曲目で帰結し、大団円を迎える構成となっている。スピリチュアルで揺蕩うような演奏は前作から変わらないが、個々の曲はより抒情的でメロディアスになった気がする。そして、6曲目はストリングスやコーラスも交えた壮大なパノラマともいえる。パーソネルもほぼ変わらずで、おなじみのThundercatやTerrace Martinもその6曲目に参加している。 | ||
