| ベテランR&BシンガーBetty Wrightの10年ぶりのアルバム。その間も客演やGrammyノミネーションなどもあって、ブランクを感じさせない作品である。もう一方の主役はThe RootsでJohn Legend, Booker-Tと続くR&B畑のArtistとのコラボレーションをバックバンドに徹して成功させている。Betty Wrightの唄は、成熟して渋みはましているものの、まだまだ枯れては無く、アップ〜ミディアム〜スローと緩急自在にノリ良くこなしている。SnoopやLil Wayneとの競演も意外にマッチしていいて、ゆったりとくつろいで聴ける良曲揃いの作品です。 | ||
